Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinton Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacey Parke!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parke misses with a hook.
Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Parke darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Parke is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jackson is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parke looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Parke is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Parke not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson pushes Parke off looking to stand but Parke dives back in and keeps control.
Parke lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jackson is trying to stand.
Parke thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Parke not doing much here.
Parke thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nice sprawl there from Jackson as Parke shoots in.
Jackson misses with the combination.
Jackson connects with a jab.
Parke uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.

Jackson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Jackson stopping the sweep attempt from Parke.
Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Parke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Parke tries to strike from the bottom.
Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jackson postures up in Parke's guard and throws a big left but Parke blocks it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Parke is on top in guard.
Parke wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Parke pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now.
Jackson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Parke advances position into side control!

Parke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jackson is looking to regain half guard here but Parke keeps moving and retains side control.
Parke lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Parke tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Parke in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson feints and as Parke raises his hands in defense, Jackson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Parke is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jackson rolls with it to try and escape but Parke cranks on the arm and Jackson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
