Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kasper Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by Raining Blood. Kasper Koltun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Green! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kasper Koltun! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green misses with a right hand and Koltun counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Koltun throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Matt Green has been cut. Matt Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koltun throws a jab but it's blocked by Green. Green misses with a hook
and Koltun counters with a nice leg kick. Koltun stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koltun wants it to stay on the feet. Green shoots for a takedown but Koltun saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Green shoots in looking for a takedown but Koltun manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Green's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Green. That's going to take a lot out of him. Green shoots in looking for a takedown. Koltun tries to sprawl out of it but Green keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Koltun manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Koltun lands a jab to the nose.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green just misses with a punch to the body.
Green misses with a straight left. Green is trying hard to land a takedown here. Koltun sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Koltun jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Green shoots in for a takedown but Koltun shows good takedown defense. Green takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Green shoots for a takedown but Koltun saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Koltun pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Green back to the cage. Koltun follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Koltun works the jab nicely.
Green is rocked! Kasper Koltun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This has been an exciting period of action! Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Koltun tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Koltun to the ground. Koltun escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Oh Green is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice body punch from Koltun.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green misses with a looping left. Green seems to have got his legs back now. Koltun plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Koltun has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Green is defended easily by Koltun. Green throws a poor cross that misses
and Koltun cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Koltun scores with a head kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Green. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Koltun takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Koltun struggling a bit here. Green throws an elbow but Koltun slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koltun is looking for a sweep. Green wants to control but Koltun is keeping him busy. The strikes coming from Green are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Green tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Koltun is trying to get back to half guard. Green tries for a kimura but Koltun is defending well. Koltun is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Green fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Green looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Koltun is avoiding damage well.
Koltun dodges the ground and pound from Green. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Green wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Koltun, who protects the arm well. Green is looking to take a break and control but Koltun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Koltun on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Green is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Koltun is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kasper Koltun will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Matt Green's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A swing and a miss from Green. Green decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Green is looking to pass Koltun's guard but actually Koltun recovers to full guard. Koltun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Koltun controls Green momentarily but Green frees himself. Green throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green throws an elbow that misses. Koltun uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Green's guard. Nice move by Koltun! Green wants to sweep here but Koltun controlling him for the moment. Green has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Koltun should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Green has tightened it up now! Koltun should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Matt Green! Matt Green retains his lightweight title! An intense looking Matt Green took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'WOOOOO! Feels good to get the first title def. under my belt. Brooksy throws down man. Big respect for him. Knew I had to get him down into my world on the floor...down there I am the demon...Lucifer himself. When I got him there I knew I would be leaving with the gold.'.
