Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Mancine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Mancine is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Mancine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Riley!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Mancine shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Mancine stopping the sweep attempt from Riley.

Mancine wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Riley, who protects the arm well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mancine drops back, looking for a kneebar! Riley looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Riley looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Riley!

Mancine is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Riley off and has taken his back!
Riley tries to escape but Mancine has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mancine looking for the choke but no joy.
Mancine keeps control of the position as Riley tries to break free.

Riley tries to escape but Mancine has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Mancine is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Riley is defending well though. Mancine let's go of the attempt for now.

Mancine doesn't have the hooks in and Riley manages to turn into his guard.

Mancine working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Riley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Riley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mancine gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Riley counters with a three punch combo that has Mancine backing up. Mancine nods at Riley to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mancine throws a head kick but Riley moves out of range.
Riley moves away from the strike by Mancine.
Riley lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Mancine tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mancine digs a good hook to Riley's body.
Riley throws an overhand right that lands on Mancine's shoulder, as Mancine tries to avoid the shot.
A combination from Riley does no damage.
Mancine on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A telegraphed right hand from Riley misses the target.
Riley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Riley misses the shot to the body.
Mancine staying out of range there.
Riley bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A big right from Mancine misses.
Mancine checks the leg kick nicely there.

Mancine shoots in and gets a takedown into Riley's guard.
Riley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mancine is one step ahead there.

Mancine is looking to pass into half guard but Riley pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Riley is in guard.
Mancine is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Mancine working a defensive guard but Riley manages to pass into side control anyway.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mancine is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Riley defends well.

Travis Riley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

and Riley counters with an inside leg kick.
Mancine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mancine takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Riley lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Riley buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Mancine fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Riley to the ground. Mancine is now in Riley's guard.

Mancine wants to pass the guard but Riley is keeping the position.

Mancine postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Riley is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mancine, into his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mancine controls Riley momentarily but Riley frees himself.
Riley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mancine wants to sweep but no luck.
Mancine can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Riley controls the pace.
Mancine can't keep his opponent in guard - Riley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Riley is trying to control. Mancine wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Mancine is trying to get back to full guard.
Riley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mancine does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mancine keeping moving, preventing Riley from controlling successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Travis Riley.

Travis Riley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Riley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
