Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hando Dijkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quavious Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Migos-Emmit Smith. Quavious Marshall will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hando Dijkman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Quavious Marshall! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dijkman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marshall looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dijkman lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Marshall down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ground and pound from Dijkman seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Marshall tries to escape but Dijkman is in control. Marshall managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dijkman.
Marshall is not content to let Dijkman control the position. Dijkman is chipping away with strikes.
Dijkman tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Dijkman tries to stand but Marshall is controlling his head. Dijkman throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dijkman working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Marshall is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dijkman off and has taken his back! Marshall avoiding Dijkman 's attempts to control his hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall is hanging on to Dijkman's back as he tries to escape.
Dijkman is trying to stand back up. Dijkman trying to control the position but Marshall manages to sink in the hooks. Dijkman is keeping busy.
Marshall somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Marshall tries to keep control of the position but Dijkman is staying busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dijkman is trying to get back to his feet but Marshall has full control of the position and if anything, Dijkman has just worked his way into a worse spot. Marshall gets his hands free as Dijkman looks to control. Marshall has the hooks in. Dijkman is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Dijkman prevents Marshall from getting a body triangle. Dijkman trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Dijkman staying busy and making it hard for Marshall to control. Marshall throwing damaging strikes from the back! Dijkman could be in trouble here!
Marshall really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Dijkman. Marshall is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dijkman knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dijkman for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dijkman looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Marshall looking for the choke but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall is persistently looking for the submission but Dijkman is defending it well.
Dijkman trying to survive by controlling the hands. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Marshall is hanging on to Dijkman's back as he tries to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hando Dijkman dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dijkman looking to score a takedown here. Marshall is defending well but Dijkman drives through and ends up in Marshall's guard. Marshall looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hando Dijkman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dijkman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Marshall works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dijkman wants to control from the top but Marshall keeps moving. Dijkman looking to pass the guard. Dijkman throws a strike but Marshall rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dijkman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dijkman wants to stand but Marshall is controlling the position. Marshall trying to control the position from guard on top but Dijkman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dijkman controls Marshall momentarily but Marshall frees himself. Dijkman is looking for a triangle but Marshall pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall throws a strike but Dijkman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dijkman trying to control but Marshall is working from the bottom. Dijkman working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Marshall's head. Dijkman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dijkman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marshall swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dijkman trying to control but Marshall is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dijkman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dijkman trying to control the position from guard on top but Marshall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Hando Dijkman just wasn't active enough. Marshall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dijkman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Marshall wants to control from the top but Dijkman keeps moving. Dijkman throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Dijkman trying to keep a closed guard but Marshall is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dijkman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Marshall trying to control the position from guard on top but Dijkman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Marshall wants to clinch. Dijkman scores with a takedown into Marshall's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hando Dijkman dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Marshall gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dijkman has clasped his hands together around Marshall's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Dijkman looking to control but instead Marshall has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Marshall tries to get to full guard but Dijkman has control of the leg. Dijkman trying to control the action but Marshall is working from the bottom. Marshall is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Dijkman moves nicely into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dijkman in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Dijkman misses with the ground and pound. Dijkman tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Marshall wants to get back to his feet but Dijkman drags him back down. Dijkman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Dijkman lands some shots froms side control. Dijkman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marshall keeps working. Marshall is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dijkman is controlling him well. Marshall is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Dijkman seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Marshall taking punishment in the form of punches.
Marshall is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dijkman decides to take the fight back to the feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marshall fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dijkman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Marshall to score an easy takedown into full guard. Marshall trying to control but Dijkman is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dijkman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dijkman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Marshall trying to control the position from guard on top but Dijkman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Quavious Marshall. Dijkman drives through with a takedown into guard. Dijkman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dijkman throws an elbow that misses. Marshall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dijkman's guard. Nice move by Marshall! Dijkman has his foot on Marshall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marshall works his way back into a safe position though. Dijkman keeping moving, preventing Marshall from controlling successfully. Marshall postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dijkman is controlling Marshall's posture.
And that's the end of the fight! Hando Dijkman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dijkman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
