Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Rees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Face The Pain as his entrance music. Percy Jones looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Rees! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Percy Jones! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rees dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage! Rees scores with a jab. Jones is looking to clinch. Jones tries to clinch but Rees is having none of it. Rees shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rees showed some decent athleticism there. Rees prevents Jones from standing back up.
Rees is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Rees really is a fat lump. Rees content to control rather than advance. Rees trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones pushes Rees off looking to stand but Rees dives back in and keeps control.
Rees tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rees controlling the action here. Rees seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rees controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rees is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well. Rees wants to take a breather but Jones is having none of it. Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rees trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones tries to roll over but Rees keeps him under control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rees throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Rees lands a nice looking body shot.
Jones looks gassed! Rees lands with a straight right. Jones didn't see that one coming. Percy Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Decent striking displayed by Rees there. Rees tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rees scores with a head kick.
Jones misses with a straight right. Rees throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to clinch up but Rees keeps it at a distance. Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rees sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jones throws a big shot that misses. Rees scores with a takedown into Jones's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Rees scoring with some ground and pound. Jones throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Rees controlling from the top position. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Rees slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rees advances to half guard. Rees frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Rees unloading with bombs!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to escape the mount.
Rees controlling the position easily from mount. Rees seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jones for as long as he can get away with. Jones is looking to get to half guard. Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rees controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones throwing hammer fists to the chest of Rees. What's that going to do exactly? Rees working Jones over with strikes here. Rees controlling from mount. Jones tries to reverse the position but Rees maintains control. Rees takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Kyle Rees just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Jones tries to clinch but Rees is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rees shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rees was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rees content just to control the position here. Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Rees dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rees closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard. Jones throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Rees from controlling successfully. Jones throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Rees is stalling in the full guard. Rees wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jones trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Rees trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones is breathing heavily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jones throws a series of punches but Rees moves out of range. Jones gets caught flat footed, as Rees shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rees showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rees connects with a couple of short punches. Rees is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jones has momentary wrist control but Rees slips an elbow through the middle. Rees trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rees is one step ahead there. Rees is in close to Jones's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Rees circles away.
Rees lands a really nice looking cross but Jones seems unphased.
Kyle Rees is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rees thows a body kick. Jones tries to catch it but that hurt him. Rees moves into range and clinches up with Jones. Rees breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lazy left from Rees finds it's target. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rees.
Rees lands a jab to the nose. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rees throws a head kick that Jones semi-blocks.
It looks like Percy Jones has been cut. Rees throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Rees closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rees lands in his opponent's guard. Rees seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rees preventing the sweep. Jones being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rees is one step ahead there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rees trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rees closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rees escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rees plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Jones tries to clinch up and Rees counters with a one-two to the body. Rees looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Rees counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rees advances to full mount. Rees working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Rees controlling from the full mount. Jones throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Rees putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Kyle Rees overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones really wants to buck Rees off and get back to his feet. Rees sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rees working away from the top, dropping strikes. Rees tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Rees dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Percy Jones's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Rees lands a jab to the head.
Jones darts in trying to clinch and Rees counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jones is lucky that one didn't land flush. Rees scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Rees lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jones down.
Rees wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Rees has knee on belly and moves into mount. Rees takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rees has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rees working the ground and pound effectively.
Jones regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rees keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Jones throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Rees takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Rees content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Rees trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Kyle Rees just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rees shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. Rees tries a head kick but it misses.
Percy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rees wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones scores with an uppercut up the middle. Rees is trying to break the clinch but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Jones lands on the inside with an uppercut. Rees is trying to break free. Rees slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Rees lands an overhand right. Jones waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Rees. A solid body kick from Rees. Rees rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rees is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks. Rees breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rees shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jones throwing hammer fists to the chest of Rees. What's that going to do exactly? Jones is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rees postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jones is trying to escape the mount.
Rees controlling the pace for now. Rees scoring with strikes but Jones is staying in there. Percy Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kyle Rees is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Rees with a couple of short strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Rees showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rees has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
