Barishkov comes to the cage accompanied by Angel of Death - Slayer. The key to victory for Krug Barishkov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bicuspid tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barishkov swivels and escapes.
Bicuspid takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Barishkov looks to land a left hand but Bicuspid moved out of range nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bicuspid has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Barishkov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looks like Incisor Bicuspid has been cut.

Bicuspid tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Barishkov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bicuspids jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krug Barishkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Incisor Bicuspid.
Barishkov throws a looping overhand right but Bicuspid ducks down to avoid it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barishkov is on top in guard.

Barishkov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bicuspid is looking to stand up but Barishkov isn't so interested in that idea.

Krug Barishkov has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Barishkov tries a head kick but it misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bicuspid.
Barishkov throws a chopping leg kick but Bicuspid manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bicuspid doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Barishkov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barishkov wants it to stay on the feet.
Barishkov throws out a loose jab but Bicuspid uses good head movement to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bicuspid shoots for a double leg takedown but Barishkov sprawls well. He's pushed Bicuspid's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Barishkov closes the distance and pushes Bicuspid back into the cage.

Bicuspid tightens his grip and picks Barishkov up, before dumping him to the ground. Barishkov manages to land in guard.
Barishkov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barishkov has momentary wrist control but Bicuspid slips an elbow through the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bicuspid is fighting to break Barishkov's control of his arms but Barishkov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bicuspid with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Barishkov to score with a decent uppercut.
Bicuspid is still on wobbly legs! Can Barishkov finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Barishkov engages and cracks Bicuspid with a massive lead left hook - Bicuspid tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Barishkov is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

After winning the bout, Krug Barishkov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
