Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Young Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerrard Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young Crane has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Young Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gerrard Ramsey! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane fails in his attempt to clinch. Crane moves in looking to clinch but Ramsey pushes him off. Crane moves out of range of the leg kick from Ramsey. Ramsey clinches. Crane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Crane misses with a lunging right hand
and Ramsey makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ramsey gets a takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Crane trying to control from the bottom.
Crane is concentrating on defense, preventing Ramsey from advancing position. Crane is defending against the submission attempts here by Ramsey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramsey is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Crane reverses the position - he's now on top in Ramsey's guard. Crane gets to his feet. Ramsey looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Ramsey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramsey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crane is keeping the position for now. Crane not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Crane looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ramsey wants to stand and escape but instead Crane has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Crane wants to get up but he can't break Ramsey's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Crane preventing the sweep. Ramsey looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Crane puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Crane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Crane tries to stand but can't do so whilst Ramsey controls his leg. Ramsey is looking for a sweep. Crane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ramsey wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramsey is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crane pulls his head out easily. Ramsey looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramsey is trying to escape back to his feet but Crane uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Crane gets to mount! Ramsey was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Crane working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Ramsey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ramsey tries to reverse the position but Crane maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gerrard Ramsey will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ramsey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Crane quickly recovers to half guard. Crane trying to hold on to Ramsey's head to control him but Ramsey postures up.
Crane is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ramsey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ramsey's back! Crane keeps control of the position as Ramsey tries to break free.
Ramsey looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Crane has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Ramsey is in real trouble here. Crane gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Ramsey is tapping out! Crane wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Young Crane!
