Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Stoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Django Kinte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoke comes to the cage accompanied by Tear the world down. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rob Stoke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Django Kinte! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinte moves away from the strike by Stoke. Kinte lands a jab to the nose. Kinte tests Stoke's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kinte forces Stoke back against the cage and clinches. Stoke misses with some punches.
Stoke has a couple of punches blocked by Kinte.
Stoke connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kinte's face.
It looks like Django Kinte has been cut. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Stoke tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kinte lands with a left to the head. I was talking to Stoke's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Kinte pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jab by Stoke. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stoke misses with a hook. No joy there for Kinte, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kinte fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stoke, pushing him back against the cage. Stoke working aggressively here.
Stoke blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kinte lands with a short head shot on the inside. Stoke tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kinte pulls Stoke into guard.
Stoke is fighting to break Kinte's control of his arms but Kinte is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stoke accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kinte preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kinte trying to keep a closed guard but Stoke is proving a slippery customer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kinte escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stoke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stoke is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Stoke got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kinte has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stoke has managed to get both his arms back between Kinte's legs - danger averted. Kinte looking for a guillotine here but Stoke defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kinte looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kinte is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stoke is aware though and is defending well. Stoke content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Stoke is looking to work some ground and pound but Kinte has wrist control. Stoke scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kinte escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stoke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stoke with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Stoke avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoke got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kinte has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stoke has managed to get both his arms back between Kinte's legs - danger averted. Stoke keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kinte's head. Stoke works over Kinte with some ground and pound from guard.
Kinte is rocked! Stoke is working Kinte over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kinte is still in real trouble! Can Stoke finish him? Stoke with a nice head shot there. Stoke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stoke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Stoke gets to his feet and stands over Kinte, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kinte felt that one! Stoke unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kinte from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Stoke! Jumping up and down and very excited, Rob Stoke waved his t-shirt featuring Union Fight Gear's logo in front of the cameras.
