Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aukina Kaeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aukina Kaeo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fred Ford! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ford displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kaeo. Kaeo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ford fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kaeo closes the distance and clinches up with Ford, looking for a takedown. Kaeo pushes Ford against the cage but Ford circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ford throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ford tries for a takedown but Kaeo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ford tries to clinch up. Kaeo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ford circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aukina Kaeo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kaeo leaves Ford with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ford tries to clinch up but Kaeo circles away and keeps his distance. Ford should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kaeo rushes Ford and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kaeo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaeo shoots in for a takedown but Ford shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ford tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kaeo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ford feints and as Kaeo raises his hands in defense, Ford changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ford is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ford working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ford drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ford seems to have locked his on tight now - Kaeo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ford, as he picks up the win!
