Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Dun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dun has chosen Evil Ways as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arthur Pinto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pinto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pinto throws a hook but Dun avoids it easily.
Dun swinging wildly here.
Dun uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Dun misses with the combination.
Dun missing with a left hand there. Pinto was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dun throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pinto.
Dun throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pinto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Dun throws a nice looking combination but Pinto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A big right from Pinto misses.
Pinto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dun swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pinto slips a jab and a cross from Dun.
Pinto slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Pinto counters with a stiff right hand.

and Pinto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Dun is trying to break the clinch but Pinto has him pressed against the cage.

Pinto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dun's efforts to push away.

Dun is rocked!
Dun wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pinto has him pressed against the cage.
Dun tries to break the clinch but Pinto is controlling the position.
Pinto softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Dun is still on wobbly legs! Can Pinto finish him?
Dun wants to break free but Pinto has control.
Pinto lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dun backwards.
Pinto is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dun is trying to push Pinto away but Pinto has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Dun seems to have recovered his senses.
Stalling in the clinch from Pinto.
Pinto lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dun or not.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arthur Pinto dominated that round.
That's time! Pinto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Pinto throws a lazy uppercut
and Dun counters with a left and a right that stings Pinto.
Sloppy strikes from Dun. Those never looked like landing.
Dun tries to bum rush Pinto with a series of wild strikes but Pinto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Dun counters with a one-two to the body.
Mike Dun is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dun fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pinto manages to avoid it.
Dun lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pinto circles away quickly and effectively.
Dun throws a nice looking combination but Pinto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dun throws a looping overhand right but Pinto ducks down to avoid it.
Mike Dun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pinto misses with a lunging right hand
and Dun counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dun throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pinto lands a nice hook to Dun's body. Dun takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dun misses with a double jab

and Pinto moves into the clinch.
Pinto lands a shoulder strike.
Pinto stalls.
Dun is trying to force a seperation but Pinto has the dominant position.
Pinto has Dun pressed against the cage, preventing Dun from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Pinto keeps control of Dun as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Arthur Pinto decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
