Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dom DeLuise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Dom DeLuise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mirko Silva!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a combination
and DeLuise counters with a low kick, right behind Silva 's knee.
DeLuise fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A nice inside leg kick there by DeLuise. That's going to slow Silva down.
DeLuise throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Silva misses with a double jab
and DeLuise moves into the clinch.
DeLuise pushes Silva back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Silva looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Still in the clinch, DeLuise scores with a nice short uppercut.
DeLuise gets through Silva's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
DeLuise presses Silva against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
DeLuise is working Silva over against the cage.
DeLuise lands with a short head shot on the inside.
DeLuise lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
A short uppercut from DeLuise.
Silva wants a takedown.
DeLuise pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
DeLuise throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Mirko Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
DeLuise lands a nice shot to the body.
DeLuise cracks Silva on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Silva falls backwards against the cage. DeLuise follows up with more strikes that drop Silva to his knees. DeLuise keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Silva! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dom DeLuise!
Dom DeLuise seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
