Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Weiner Von Trapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Demarce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Demarce!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demarce looks to throw the jab but Von Trapp is out of range.
Demarce tries for a takedown but Von Trapp circles away easily

and Von Trapp counters with a nice double leg into side control. Demarce won't be happy with that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Von Trapp looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Demarce really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Von Trapp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Von Trapp tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Von Trapp has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Von Trapp advances to mount.
Von Trapp with shots to the head and body - Demarce looks very uncomfortable down there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Demarce is squirming around, avoiding Von Trapp's attempts to control the action.

Von Trapp has hold of Demarce's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Demarce manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Demarce really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Von Trapp wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Demarce tries to lock up and control but Von Trapp gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Von Trapp wants to control the pace but Demarce is squirming around nicely.
Von Trapp wants to take Demarce's back but he can't do it this time.
Demarce can't escape the position.

Von Trapp looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Von Trapp goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Demarce is on top in guard.
Demarce trying to control but Von Trapp is working from the bottom.
Von Trapp thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Von Trapp is on top in guard.
Von Trapp wants to pass the guard but Demarce is keeping the position.

Demarce preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Demarce keeping moving, preventing Von Trapp from controlling successfully.

Demarce is looking for a triangle but Von Trapp pushes his legs off easily.
Demarce wants to stand and escape but Von Trapp is having none of it.

Demarce working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Von Trapp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Von Trapp manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Von Trapp wants to control from the top but Demarce keeps moving.

Demarce is striking off his back. Von Trapp thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Demarce is trying to get back to full guard.
Von Trapp is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Demarce tries to reverse the position but Von Trapp maintains control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Demarce defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Von Trapp.
Demarce is looking to improve his position but Von Trapp isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Weiner Von Trapp dominated that round.
That's time! Von Trapp's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Demarce keeps the fight on the outside.

Demarce shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

He's locked it up tight! Demarce's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Von Trapp picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
