Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josiah Mcintyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rui Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sousa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. baddest man alive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcintyre will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sousa throws a leg kick that is checked
and Mcintyre decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sousa's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mcintyre engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Sousa is trying to keep Mcintyre in close.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sousa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sousa drives through and clinches with Mcintyre against the cage.

Sousa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Rui Sousa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Mcintyre shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mcintyre working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Sousa works his way to full guard. Good work.

Mcintyre got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sousa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mcintyre has managed to get both his arms back between Sousa's legs - danger averted.

Mcintyre decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sousa, up you get!
Josiah Mcintyre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcintyre is defended easily by Sousa.
Mcintyre shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sousa but Sousa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
