2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arthur Pinto! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grip dives in for a single leg takedown but Pinto sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Grip fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Grip is trying to pull guard but Pinto turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenneth Grip. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pinto lands with a short shot to the head. Grip could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pinto manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Grip darts in looking for a takedown but Pinto gets double underhooks and turns Grip into the cage. Pinto lands with a short head shot on the inside. That's two minutes gone in the round. Grip jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pinto walks away with a smile on his face. Grip gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Grip changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pinto tries to avoid it but Grip manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pinto to the ground. Pinto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pinto throws a shot to the body.
Grip shoots in but no luck this time. Pinto lands a jab to the nose. Pinto jabs Grip to the body, keeping him at a distance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pinto clobbers Grip with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Grip dives in for a single leg takedown but Pinto sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Pinto leaning his opponent against the cage. Grip jumps guard but Pinto turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A left hand lands to the body for Pinto.

Pinto scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grip looks for a takedown but Pinto sprawls well. Pinto has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Pinto leaves Grip with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pinto connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Grip momentarily.
Grip shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pinto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Grip closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pinto circles away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pinto scores with a sloppy right hand. Grip should have avoided that one. Grip fails with the takedown. No luck for Grip with that takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grip fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pinto scores with a jab to the jaw. Pinto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pinto wants it to stay on the feet.

Those have got to be taking their toll on Grip's gas tank. Pinto stalling.

Arthur Pinto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kenneth Grip's cut. That's time! Grip's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Grip goes for a double leg but Pinto avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pinto continues to drive forward. A short right from Pinto on the inside. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Pinto gets through Grip's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Grip is rocked! Pinto lands a nice uppercut. Oh Grip is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Grip is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pinto to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenneth Grip. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pinto lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Grip. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pinto takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Pinto dips a shoulder and cracks Grip with a mighty uppercut! Grip falls back against the cage and Pinto unloads with a barrage of strikes! Grip is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pinto screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arthur Pinto! Arthur Pinto decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
