Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lester Bangs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maacbar Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bangs kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sparks. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bangs throws a half hearted mid kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Bangs finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Lester Bangs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bangs is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.
Brown is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bangs.
Bangs has taken the fight to the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Brown's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Brown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bangs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've been hearing reports that Bangs has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bangs drops his shoulder and cracks Brown with a huge uppercut! Brown goes down! Can Bangs finish him?
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bangs drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Bangs off! Bangs jumps back into Brown's guard.

Bangs stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Maacbar Brown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bangs dives in for a single leg takedown but Brown sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lester Bangs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bangs.
Bangs's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Brown is posturing up here but Bangs has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Brown tries to roll out but it's too tight and Brown has to tap! Slick submission there by Bangs!

After winning the bout, Lester Bangs thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
