Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Rummer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Call Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Rummer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Call Me!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Me shoots in for a takedown but Rummer shows good takedown defense.
Me closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rummer circles away.

Me manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rummer on his heels. He'll look to pass Rummer's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Me postures up.
Rummer keeping moving, preventing Me from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Call Me.
Nice sprawl there from Rummer as Me shoots in.
Ryan Rummer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Call Me.

Me will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Me closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rummer circles away.
Ryan Rummer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Me tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rummer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Me somewhat.
Call Me seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rummer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rummer wants it to stay on the feet.

Rummer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Me to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Me keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rummer's head.

Me works over Rummer with some ground and pound from guard.
Me passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Me remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Rummer wants to control but Me postures up.
Rummer seems a little lost for a moment, as Me dominates the positioning.

Me throws a strike aimed at the side of Rummer's head but Rummer avoids it well.

Rummer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Me on the ground.

Me fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The ground and pound from Me seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Me misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Rummer takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Me has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rummer takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Me wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rummer keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Rummer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rummer stuffs the takedown attempt from Me. Me gets slowly back to his feet.

Me looks for a takedown but Rummer sprawls well.
Me will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Rummer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Me showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Rummer pulls Me in close to prevent any damage.

Me postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Me wants to control from the top but Rummer keeps moving.
Me throws an elbow that misses. Rummer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Me's guard. Nice move by Rummer!
Me controls Rummer momentarily but Rummer frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Me looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rummer puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Me is not content to let Rummer control the position.
Me trying to control but Rummer postures up.
Me wants to improve his position but Rummer is controlling well.
Still in half guard, Rummer seems content to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Me wants to get back to full guard.
Me is trying to maintain the position but Rummer is very close to passing his half guard.
Me looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Call Me hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Me fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Call Me showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Me changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rummer tries to avoid it but Me manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rummer to the ground. Rummer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looks like Call Me has been cut.
Me shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Me changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rummer tries to avoid it but Me manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rummer to the ground. Rummer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Me shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rummer but Rummer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Horrible takedown by Me or perhaps it was just good defense by Rummer which made him look bad.
Me darts in looking for a takedown but Rummer gets double underhooks and turns Me into the cage.

Me dives in and grabs Rummer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rummer pushes down on Me's head and hops out.
Ryan Rummer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Me fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Me shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rummer as he jumps to the side.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryan Rummer.
I think Me has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
