Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jurgen Kohler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Hagush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurgen Kohler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ruslan Hagush's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jurgen Kohler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ruslan Hagush!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagush ducks under a wild hook from Kohler.
Hagush will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hagush shoots in for a takedown but Kohler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hagush misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A big left from Kohler misses.
Hagush shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kohler but Kohler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jurgen Kohler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruslan Hagush.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hagush or perhaps it was just good defense by Kohler, which made it look bad.
Hagush goes for a double leg but Kohler avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kohler continues to drive forward.

Kohler lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kohler has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hagush avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kohler gets through Hagush's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kohler can't get the takedown.
Hagush blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Kohler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kohler swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Kohler counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hagush!
Kohler misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hagush moves out of range of the strikes.

Hagush lands with a nice combination. Kohler backs away looking to recover.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kohler enables Hagush to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kohler manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hagush shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hagush was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hagush in particular looking to stall.

Hagush lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kohler quite badly. Kohler pulls Hagush in close trying to recover. Hagush postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kohler on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kohler doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ruslan Hagush!
Ruslan Hagush decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
