Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Collin Hinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Gates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Collin Hinton has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Collin Hinton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill Gates!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gates scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Hinton trying to hold on to Gates's head to control him but Gates postures up.

Gates decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Gates keeps the fight on the outside.

Gates shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hinton's guard.
Hinton working a defensive guard but Gates passes into half guard.
Gates works his foot free and advances to mount.
Hinton tries to hold on but Gates pushes him away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hinton is trying to escape the mount but Gates keeps good control and instead manages to take Hinton's back.
Gates is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Hinton wants to control his opponent's hands but Gates gets his hands free.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gates has the hooks in. Hinton is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Hinton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
What can Hinton do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Gates is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hinton is defending well though. Gates let's go of the attempt for now.
Hinton trying to control the action but Gates just sinks the hooks in.
Hinton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gates is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hinton knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hinton for a finish.
Gates throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gates is working for a rear naked choke. Hinton is not defending it well and Gates has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hinton refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hinton's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bill Gates!
