Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Quin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quin comes to the cage accompanied by Baha Men-Holla. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Quin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruno Krause! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Krause. Quin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Quin blocks a jab. Quin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Krause. Krause scores with a body shot.
Nice cross by Krause. Krause fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quin manages to avoid it. Quin throws a hook but Krause avoids it easily. Krause misses with a straight left. Quin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Krause doesn't seem bothered though. Quin misses with a hook. Krause jabs Quin to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krause dives in and grabs Quin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quin pushes down on Krause's head and hops out. Krause tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quin was well out of range. Poor timing from Krause. Some wild striking there from Quin.
Krause looks to score with a jab to the body but Quin is just out of range. Quin avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Krause tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Quin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A big left from Krause misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krause takes a swing at Quin's ribcage but misses. Krause misses with a body shot.
Krause tries to clinch up but Quin circles away and keeps his distance. Krause bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Quin's head. A telegraphed right hand from Krause misses the target. Krause fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Quin moves out of range as Krause strikes. Krause throws a body punch but Quin moves out of range. Quin avoids the body shot from Krause.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krause connects with a crisp jab. Quin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Nice takedown defense from Quin. No joy for Krause on that attempt. Quin misses with an uppercut. Krause saw that one coming. Krause throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tom Quin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Krause shoots in for a takedown but Quin shows good takedown defense. Tom Quin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Krause.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krause throws a hook but Quin avoids it easily. Quin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Krause.
Krause takes a swing at Quin's ribcage but misses. Krause swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Krause waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Quin. Krause shoots in and drives through. Quin sprawls well. Krause throws a body punch but Quin moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Quin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Krause moves away. Quin slips under a jab from Krause. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruno Krause dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Quin keeps the fight on the outside. Krause throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Krause scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Quin doesn't seem bothered though. Bruno Krause seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krause tries to clinch but Quin moves out of range. Krause has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Quin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like Bruno Krause has been cut. Krause connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Krause dives in and grabs Quin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quin pushes down on Krause's head and hops out. Quin loads up on a big right hand but Krause slips the punch. Krause misses with a left hand and Quin counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krause takes a swing at Quin's ribcage but misses. Krause lands with a hook. Quin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Quin throws the left hand but Krause avoids the punch easily. Krause scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Krause throws out a loose jab but Quin uses good head movement to avoid it. Krause throws a lazy uppercut
and Quin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Quin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Krause lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Quin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krause tries to clinch but Quin moves away and Quin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Krause uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Krause throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Krause tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quin was well out of range. Poor timing from Krause. Krause scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Quin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Krause throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Quin. Krause does a little dance to reset his feet. Krause throws a body punch but Quin moves out of range. Krause takes a swing at Quin's ribcage but misses. Quin avoids the body shot from Krause.
Krause misses with an uppercut. Krause is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Quin rather than just go for the knockout. Krause swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Krause digs a good body shot into Quin's ribs. Quin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krause dives in for a single leg takedown but Quin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Quin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Quin lands with a short head shot on the inside. Krause swings wildly with an uppercut but Quin uses good head movement to avoid it. Krause is trying to pull guard but Quin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Tom Quin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Krause. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Quin. Quin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Quin. Quin lands with a short head shot on the inside. Quin is looking to break free of the clinch but Krause has double underhooks. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Quin lands a hook that snaps the head of Krause backwards. Nice body punch from Quin - that landed with a thud.

Krause wants to stall.

Bruno Krause showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Bruno Krause's cut. That's the end of the round. Bruno Krause seems to be getting the better of the standup. Quin stuffs the takedown attempt from Krause. Krause gets slowly back to his feet. Krause tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Quin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Krause dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Quin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Krause. Quin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Krause to score with a decent uppercut. Krause lands with an overhand left. Quin on the wrong end of a nice jab. Krause takes a swing at Quin's ribcage but misses. Tom Quin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Krause fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quin manages to avoid it. Krause misses the shot to the body. Krause throws a hook but Quin blocks it. A looping hook to the body misses from Krause. Quin does a little dance to reset his feet. Krause lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quin needs to keep his hands up - Krause had a free shot at his head there. Krause scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Quin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Krause. Krause misses the jab. Krause misses with a right hand and Quin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Krause misses the shot to the body. Quin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Krause misses with an uppercut. Quin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krause jabbing away but nothing is landing. Quin avoids the body shot from Krause.
Quin slips under a jab from Krause. Bruno Krause is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Krause misses with an uppercut. Krause is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quin. Krause looks to throw the jab but Quin is out of range. Krause connects with a nice looking jab.
Quin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruno Krause comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Krause winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
