Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Lisiowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrzej Lisiowski told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lisiowski wants to clinch.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lisiowski tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lisiowski to the ground. Lisiowski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lisiowski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Lisiowski, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Lisiowski against the cage but Lisiowski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lisiowski is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea.

Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lisiowski defend it? Silva steps over the head and cranks it - Lisiowski is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Silva!

In his post fight interview, Antonio Silva started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
