Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Crushing Cows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genaro Barraza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Genaro Barraza will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barraza throws out a loose jab but Cows uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cows throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Barraza tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cows is in Barraza's guard.
Barraza working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cows.
Barraza is trying to control the position but Cows postures up.
Cows might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Barraza has Cows pulled in close to control his posture.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barraza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cows can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Barraza is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cows seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barraza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Barraza felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Barraza is looking to control Cows's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Barraza avoid being mounted?
Barraza might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cows haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Cows is nestled in close to Barraza, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barraza can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cows lands a nice short elbow.
Cows tries to pass the half guard into mount. Barraza knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cows is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Barraza can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Barraza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cows. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Barraza is wriggling around trying to escape.

Barraza is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cows looks to score with a jab to the body but Barraza is just out of range.
Cows seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Barraza is desperately trying to improve his position but Cows has a good base and remains in mount.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Cows lands a couple of good shots and Barraza has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Cows lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Barraza.

Cows is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Barraza. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

A helpless look comes across Barraza 's face. He knows he's trapped as Cows lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
