Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seijuro Akashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lodbrok has chosen Glory and Gore as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Seijuro Akashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ragnar Lodbrok!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodbrok slaps away a takedown attempt from Akashi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lodbrok closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Akashi wants to control but Lodbrok is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lodbrok is nestled in close to Akashi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lodbrok scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Lodbrok landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Lodbrok perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Lodbrok takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Akashi wants to get back to full guard.
Lodbrok working the head and body with strikes.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Lodbrok sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Akashi defending well though.
Lodbrok lands strikes from half guard.
Akashi has hold of Lodbrok's hands but Lodbrok slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lodbrok looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Akashi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Akashi is trying to get back to full guard.
Ground and pound from Lodbrok.

Lodbrok is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Akashi is rocked!
Lodbrok scores with a big shot! Akashi's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Akashi! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ragnar Lodbrok!
