The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ishii closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ishii seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wallace Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ishii takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Ishii counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wallace Jr's guard now.
Wallace Jr can't keep his opponent in guard - Ishii advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
