PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between T J Delarosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daanish Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan has chosen Electric six: gay bar as his entrance music. Delarosa has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, T J Delarosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Daanish Khan!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan looking to score a takedown here. Delarosa is defending well but Khan drives through and ends up in Delarosa's guard.
Khan throwing strikes from guard but Delarosa blocks nicely.
Khan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Khan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Khan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Delarosa has momentary wrist control but Khan slips an elbow through the middle.

Delarosa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Khan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Delarosa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Delarosa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Khan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Khan has hold of Delarosa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Delarosa seems comfortable defending it but Khan has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Delarosa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Delarosa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Khan couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Daanish Khan!
Daanish Khan decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
