Baron connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Akira Nakumura has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Baron lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nakumura doesn't seem phased though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baron lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Nakumura up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Baron from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Nakumura's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Baron!
David Baron decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
