Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clay Hurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muhammed Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muhammed Suarez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Clay Hurst! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Muhammed Suarez! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Hurst. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Hurst's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hurst decides to take the fight back to the feet. Suarez shoots in and bounces Hurst off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hurst is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Suarez is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurst is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Hurst is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hurst striking from the bottom.
Suarez postures up in Hurst's guard and throws a big left but Hurst blocks it. Hurst pulls Suarez in to control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Clay Hurst wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Suarez fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hurst drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Suarez working a defensive guard here.
Suarez looks winded! Hurst is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hurst throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hurst looking to control the position here, rather than advance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hurst makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hurst postures up.
Hurst forces his way into half guard. Suarez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hurst. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hurst performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hurst prevents Suarez from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hurst slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Clay Hurst. Hurst drives through and clinches with Suarez against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clay Hurst dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Suarez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hurst manages to get to full guard.
Hurst controlling the position. Hurst is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Suarez is aware though and is defending well. Suarez stopping the sweep attempt from Hurst. Hurst trying to control the position.
Hurst wants to sweep but no luck. Suarez is breathing heavily. Hurst looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hurst knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suarez on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Clay Hurst wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A shot to the body from Suarez misses and Hurst holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hurst turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hurst manages to end up in side control. Hurst moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Hurst working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suarez is letting Hurst control him for a moment. Suarez defending against the ground and pound. Hurst is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Suarez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Suarez wants to control but Hurst postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Hurst politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hurst prefers to stall for the moment though. Hurst works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Suarez is letting Hurst control him for a moment. Hurst cracks Suarez with a big right hand but Suarez just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Clay Hurst overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Suarez seems a little lost for a moment, as Hurst dominates the positioning. Hurst has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suarez tries to improve position but can't. Hurst is staying tight to Suarez's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Clay Hurst has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Suarez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clay Hurst dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Hurst closes the distance and clinches. Hurst gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Hurst controlling from the top position. Suarez throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hurst uses it to pass to side control.
Suarez wants to get back to his feet but Hurst is dominant here and he's now got Suarez's back! Hurst has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Suarez's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hurst working for a choke but Suarez is defending well. Suarez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hurst just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Suarez won't enjoy being in this position. Hurst looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Suarez is tapping - it's over boys! Hurst picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Clay Hurst!
