The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tehjun shoots in looking for a takedown. Bad Ass tries to sprawl out of it but Tehjun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bad Ass manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tehjun closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bad Ass quickly recovers to half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Tehjun seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Tehjun frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
