Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Simon Adabisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Rainwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Simon Adabisi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dallas Rainwater!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rainwater shoots in and drives through. Adabisi sprawls well.
Adabisi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rainwater circles away quickly and effectively.
Rainwater takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Adabisi throws a nice looking combination but Rainwater bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Adabisi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rainwater stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Adabisi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Basics -LOD- in the buildup to the fight.
Rainwater with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adabisi to score with a decent uppercut.
Adabisi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rainwater.
Adabisi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rainwater sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Adabisi misses with a left hand
and Rainwater counters with a right hand to the body.
Adabisi slips a jab and a cross from Rainwater.

Adabisi misses with a series of wild punches.
Rainwater looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Adabisi throws a hook to the side of Rainwater's head but Rainwater sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rainwater misses with a series of wild punches.
Rainwater lands a lovely overhand right.
Rainwater has his takedown stuffed
and Adabisi counters with a three punch combo that has Rainwater backing up. Rainwater nods at Adabisi to acknowledge the strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Adabisi avoids the body shot from Rainwater.
Rainwater loads up on a big right hand but Adabisi slips the punch.
Rainwater takes a jab right on the kisser.
Adabisi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rainwater finds it's way round the side to connect with Adabisi's head.
Rainwater looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Simon Adabisi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rainwater throws the left hand but Adabisi avoids the punch easily.
Rainwater misses with a takedown attempt - Adabisi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Simon Adabisi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dallas Rainwater.

Rainwater shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adabisi pinned against the cage. Adabisi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Adabisi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


It looks like Dallas Rainwater has been cut.
Adabisi lands a slapping body shot.
A big right from Adabisi misses.
Adabisi loads up on a big right hand but Rainwater slips the punch.

Adabisi scores with the left hand. Rainwater knows he should have avoided that one.
Rainwater uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Adabisi.
Rainwater throws a lazy uppercut
and Adabisi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Adabisi misses with a double jab
and Rainwater counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rainwater uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Adabisi.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rainwater moves away from the strike by Adabisi.
Adabisi loads up on a big right hand but Rainwater slips the punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Adabisi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Adabisi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Adabisi lands a really nice looking cross but Rainwater seems unphased.
Rainwater closes this distance looking for a takedown but Adabisi circles away.
Adabisi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rainwater closes the distance and clinches up with Adabisi, looking for a takedown. Rainwater pushes Adabisi against the cage but Adabisi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Adabisi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Rainwater throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

A big right from Adabisi misses.
Rainwater drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rainwater tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adabisi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rainwater somewhat.
Simon Adabisi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dallas Rainwater.
Rainwater misses the body punch
and Adabisi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A right-left combo lands from Adabisi.
Adabisi lands with a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rainwater moves away from the strike by Adabisi.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rainwater walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Rainwater defending well as Adabisi loads up on a big left hand.
Adabisi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rainwater.
Adabisi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rainwater throws an overhand right that lands on Adabisi's shoulder, as Adabisi tries to avoid the shot.
Adabisi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Rainwater gets a double leg takedown into Adabisi's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Rainwater has gone for a leg lock! Adabisi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rainwater's guard.

Adabisi is stalling in the full guard.

Rainwater is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rainwater lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Adabisi!
Adabisi stops Rainwater from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Rainwater swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Adabisi is now in Rainwater's guard. A big mistake from Rainwater there, giving up the dominant position!
Rainwater is trying to control the position from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rainwater is controlling Adabisi's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dallas Rainwater.
Adabisi gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Adabisi cracks Rainwater with an open hand slap.
Adabisi missing with a left hand there. Rainwater was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rainwater ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adabisi moves away.
Rainwater displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Adabisi throws out the jab.
The fighters circling - Adabisi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Adabisi throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Rainwater to counter with a crisp jab.
A cross from Rainwater lands.
Rainwater has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Rainwater shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Adabisi but Adabisi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rainwater swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rainwater walks into a straight right hand from Adabisi.
Rainwater gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Adabisi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Adabisi tries to bum rush Rainwater with a series of wild strikes but Rainwater uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Adabisi misses with a straight right.
Adabisi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rainwater.

Rainwater closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Adabisi quickly recovers to half guard.

Rainwater is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Adabisi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rainwater.
Rainwater prevents Adabisi from improving his position.

Rainwater wants to pass to mount but Adabisi is defending the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rainwater is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Adabisi defends it well.
Adabisi keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Adabisi tries to get to full guard but Rainwater has control of the leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rainwater is looking to take a break and control but Adabisi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Rainwater is working for a kimura here but Adabisi manages to reverse the position and he's now in Rainwater's guard.
Rainwater wants to hit a switch here but Adabisi passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rainwater there!
Rainwater tries to hold on but Adabisi pushes him away.
Adabisi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Dallas Rainwater has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rainwater is wriggling around trying to escape.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Simon Adabisi.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Adabisi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
