Lodbrok comes to the cage accompanied by Glory and Gore. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodbrok throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lykourgos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lodbrok is in Lykourgos's guard.
Lykourgos wants to get back to his feet but Lodbrok is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lodbrok trying to control but Lykourgos is working from the bottom.
Lodbrok pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lykourgos is keeping the position for now.
Lykourgos pulls Lodbrok in close to his closed guard and prevents Lodbrok from doing any damage or advancing position.

Lodbrok is looking to work some ground and pound but Lykourgos has wrist control.

Lodbrok makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Lodbrok's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Lodbrok not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
