Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson's entrance music is The Beatles - Get Back. A fine choice. Savage has chosen Vote With a Bullet by Corrosion of Conformity as his entrance music. Jackson Savage will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Savage! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Savage throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Savage tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Good work by Savage as he checks the leg kick. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Savage paws at him with a jab and circles away. A head kick from Jackson lands but Savage takes it in his stride. Jackson clinches up against the cage. Savage tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Savage pushes off an throws an elbow but Jackson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Come on Jackson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Savage creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. The is referee keeping an eye on Savage - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Savage swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jackson wants to break free but Savage has control.
Jackson managing to block the knees to the body from Savage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson takes an elbow to the forehead. Jackson has Savage pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jackson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Savage tumbling to the mat - Jackson dives into Savage's guard. Jackson stopping the sweep attempt from Savage. Savage looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savage escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Savage throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jackson uses it to pass to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Savage is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savage manages to get back to half guard. Savage makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Savage. Savage working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jackson has passed into half guard!
Savage looks gassed! Jackson escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Savage moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Savage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it. Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Savage misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming. Dylan Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jackson misses with a double jab.
Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jackson throws a lazy head kick and Savage counters with a good low kick that Jackson was not able to check. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Savage counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jackson is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Jackson is rocked! Savage dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jackson. That did some damage! Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Savage throws a lazy head kick and Jackson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dylan Jackson will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Savage tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Jackson seems to have got his legs back now. Jackson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson misses with a few strikes there.
Dylan Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danga de danga de dang - Jackson scores with a four punch combination! Jackson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Savage, pushing him back against the cage. Savage swings wildly with an uppercut but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it. Jackson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Savage pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jackson blocks an elbow strike from Savage.
Savage throws an elbow but it's blocked.
A head punch on the inside from Savage fails to land. Jackson avoids the elbow strike from Savage, against the cage.
Savage lands a knee to the body.
Jackson takes an elbow to the temple. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson gets underhooks to prevent Savage's takedown attempt.
Jackson looking to throw knees to the head but Savage is blocking nicely.
Jackson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jackson has had enough of the clinch but Savage keeps him there for the moment. Savage lands an elbow that stopped Jackson in his tracks for a moment. Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Savage tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Savage throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Dylan Jackson has been cut. Jackson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Savage counters with a huge head kick that drops Jackson! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jackson Savage!
