Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafinha Capoeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charles is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Don't Fake the Funk by Prince Charles. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafinha Capoeira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Charles!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Charles has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Charles feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
