Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sun Hui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Kaminski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sun Hui!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcin Kaminski!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hui on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kaminski paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A combination from Hui does no damage.
We've been informed that Kaminski has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kaminski throws a series of punches but Hui avoids them all with ease.

Kaminski lands a left and a right that send Hui crashing to the mat, dazed. Kaminski thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kaminski looks to land a right hand but Hui moved out of range.
Oh Hui is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hui seems to have got his legs back now.

Kaminski tries to clinch up but Hui circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice takedown defense from Kaminski. No joy for Hui on that attempt.

Hui displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kaminski throws out the jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kaminski wants to clinch up but Hui keeps it at a distance.
Hui tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kaminski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hui somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sun Hui. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hui. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Hui gets tackled into the cage by Kaminski. Kaminski maintains the clinch.
Kaminski can't find room to land a body shot as Hui controls the action.
Kaminski gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


Sun Hui's cut is getting worse.
Kaminski creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Kaminski's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The crowd are getting on Kaminski's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kaminski throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Huis head.
Hui wants to take the fight to the mat but Kaminski manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kaminski moves into range and clinches up with Hui.

Hui is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kaminski is defending well.
Hui has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kaminski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hui connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kaminski's hands.
Kaminski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hui swats him away and circles back towards the center.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No joy there for Hui, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hui darts in looking for a takedown but Kaminski gets double underhooks and turns Hui into the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kaminski takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Kaminski swings wildly with an uppercut but Hui uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jeez, Sun Hui's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hui goes for a takedown attempt but Kaminski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kaminski throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kaminski throws the left hand but Hui avoids the punch easily.

Kaminski tries to close the distance and clinch but Hui swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kaminski avoids a punch combination nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hui drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Marcin Kaminski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kaminski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
