Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steiner comes to the cage accompanied by Steiner. Noel has chosen Street Gang as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ricky Steiner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Danny Noel! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Noel tries to clinch up and Steiner counters with a single leg into guard. Noel didn't expect that. Steiner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Noel works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Noel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Noel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Steiner is aware though and is defending well. Noel is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Noel can do anything to dispel that myth. Noel working for a triangle but Steiner defends it easily.

Steiner throws a big elbow that misses. Noel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steiner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Our spies down at at Kamehameha Fight Club inform us that Noel has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Noel tries to kick Steiner off but Steiner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Steiner lands a nice short elbow. Steiner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Steiner scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Steiner looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Steiner trying to mount his opponent but Noel defends it. Noel regains full guard. Nicely done. Steiner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Noel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Steiner defends well. That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Steiner postures up and lands a big shot to Noel's brow. Steiner content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Steiner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Steiner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Steiner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Steiner postures up and lands a big shot to Noel's brow. Steiner pushing down on Noel's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Noel actively working from the bottom here. Noel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Steiner missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Noel wants to control but Steiner is keeping busy and won't allow it. Noel wants to improve his position but Steiner is controlling well.

Steiner is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Noel is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Noel tries to buck Steiner off but Steiner is having none of it. Steiner remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Steiner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Steiner is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Noel has escaped the position, nice work there. Noel seems to have recovered his senses.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Steiner! After the fight, Ricky Steiner was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. Danny Noel was interviewed post fight and said 'We'll fight again. In the parking lot, maybe. But we'll fight again.'.
