Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Niko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Niko moves into the clinch.
Dalton looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Niko has Dalton pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dalton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Niko breaks the clinch.

Niko rushes Dalton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Niko pulls Dalton into guard.
Dalton could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Niko thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Dalton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dalton is fighting to break Niko's control of his arms but Niko is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Niko wants to get back to his feet but Dalton is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Niko throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Niko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Brandon Dalton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Niko Niko.
Niko throws a body punch but Dalton moves out of range.
Niko Niko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Niko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dalton gets to his feet - Niko follows without any prompting.

Niko closes the distance and clinches.

Niko breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Niko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Niko lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Dalton can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Niko and Dalton drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Niko.
