Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Musial Stanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wyatt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ''Broken Out In Love''. On his way into the cage it seems that Musial Stanson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Musial Stanson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Musial Stanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Wyatt! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyatt drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Wyatt drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stanson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stanson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stanson! Wyatt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stanson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wyatt is trying to control Stanson's posture but Stanson avoids it. Stanson wants to control but Wyatt is keeping him busy. Stanson is staying tight to Wyatt's torso, preventing him from escaping. Wyatt can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt prevents Stanson from moving into mount. A lull in the action here as Stanson stalls from top position. Stanson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stanson misses with a takedown attempt - Wyatt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wyatt misses with a body shot
and Stanson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wyatt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wyatt is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stanson trying to control but Wyatt is working from the bottom. Stanson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Musial Stanson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Wyatt closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stanson to the mat! Stanson manages to get full guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wyatt working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Stanson keeping moving, preventing Wyatt from controlling successfully. Wyatt passes into half guard. Wyatt trying to control the action but Stanson is working from the bottom. Stanson controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Wyatt is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Wyatt thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stanson's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wyatt not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wyatt wants to control but Stanson is keeping him busy. Stanson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stanson. Wyatt trying to control but Stanson is working from the bottom. Stanson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wyatt is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stanson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Wyatt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wyatt gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stanson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Stanson looking to pass the guard. Stanson trying to control but Wyatt is working from the bottom. Stanson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Wyatt trying to control the position.
Wyatt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stanson defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wyatt is trying to control the position but Stanson postures up. Wyatt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stanson is aware though and is defending well. Stanson drops back looking for a leg! Wyatt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wyatt manages to kick Stanson off! Stanson jumps back into Wyatt's guard. Musial Stanson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wyatt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stanson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wyatt's head. Stanson throwing strikes from guard but Wyatt blocks nicely. Stanson content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wyatt is keeping the position for now. Stanson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stanson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wyatt throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wyatt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Wyatt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stanson defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wyatt is looking for a triangle here but Stanson uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Stanson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wyatt has escaped the position, nice work there. Stanson tries to score with some ground and pound. Wyatt controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stanson throwing shots but missing, from side control. Wyatt struggling a bit here. Wyatt trying to remain calm as Stanson controls from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Musial Stanson dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Wyatt gets a double leg takedown into Stanson's guard. Stanson has his hands on Wyatt's head, controlling the position. Wyatt preventing the sweep. Stanson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

You can see the frustration on Wyatt's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wyatt is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Stanson is staying active. Wyatt tries to improve position but can't. Stanson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Wyatt tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wyatt is not content to let Stanson control the position. Stanson with the ground and pound but Wyatt regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Stanson is trying to control the action in half guard but Wyatt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stanson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Stanson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wyatt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Wyatt wants to pass the guard but Stanson is keeping the position. Stanson trying to keep a closed guard but Wyatt is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stanson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wyatt keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Wyatt lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Wyatt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stanson keeps working. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wyatt thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stanson's head. Wyatt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stanson missing with punches from the bottom.
Stanson wants to control but Wyatt is keeping busy.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to John Wyatt. I think Wyatt has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
