The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponjev throws a sloppy head kick and Karoa moves out of range easily.

Karoa closes the distance and clinches up with Ponjev, looking for a takedown. Karoa pushes Ponjev against the cage but Ponjev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Karoa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ponjev lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Karoa - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Ponjev!

After winning the bout, Sam Ponjev thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
