Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Truman Neal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marius Manole!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Donatello Bradman and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manole clinches.

Neal has picked Manole up - he's going for a ride! Neal dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Manole is looking to escape.
Neal could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Neal thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Manole's head.
Manole tries to roll over but Neal keeps him under control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Neal connects with a nice short shot to Manole's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neal looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Manole with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Manole moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Neal works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Neal fails with a takedown attempt.
Manole scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Manole has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Neal is working for takedown but Manole is calmly controlling the position for now.
Neal tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Manole avoids it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Truman Neal dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Neal shoots for a takedown but Manole saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Manole needs to keep his hands up - Neal had a free shot at his head there.
Neal uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Manole fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Neal.

Neal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Manole's guard.

Neal parries the strikes from Manole easily there. Manole is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Neal to escape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Marius Manole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Manole is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Neal hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
