Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Graig Mcneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Villabueno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Graig Mcneil is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Graig Mcneil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Villabueno!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villabueno throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mcneil.
Villabueno misses with a right hand

and Mcneil counters with a head kick that drops Villabueno to the mat! Villabueno scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Villabueno feints and as Mcneil raises his hands in defense, Villabueno changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Mcneil uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Villabueno looking to score a takedown here. Mcneil is defending well but Villabueno drives through and ends up in Mcneil's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Villabueno tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Villabueno has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Villabueno is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mcneil has escaped the position, nice work there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Villabueno is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mcneil is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Graig Mcneil will probably get the nod.

Villabueno closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Villabueno lands in his opponent's guard.

Villabueno drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Villabueno jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mcneil pulls Villabueno in close to his closed guard and prevents Villabueno from doing any damage or advancing position.

Villabueno postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mcneil is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Villabueno, into his guard.

Mcneil wants to stand but Villabueno has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mcneil lands a couple of digs.
Mcneil trying to control but Villabueno is working from the bottom.
Villabueno looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Villabueno working for submissions but it's allowed Mcneil to get to half guard.

Villabueno is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mcneil wants to stand up but Villabueno is controlling the position.

Villabueno changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcneil looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Villabueno has a closed guard, preventing Mcneil from standing up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Villabueno is on top in guard.
Villabueno is pushing down on Mcneil's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mcneil is fighting to maintain full guard but Villabueno has managed to sneak the leg through.

Alex Villabueno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Villabueno has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
