The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morooz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Finch is fighting off a takedown attempt but Morooz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Finch to the mat. Finch regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Morooz swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Finch is now in Morooz's guard. A big mistake from Morooz there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Finch circles away from the clinch attempt
and Finch counters with a good low kick that Morooz was not able to check.
Morooz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Finch manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Morooz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Finch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
