The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DiMa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vip takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Vip moves into range and clinches up with DiMa.
DiMa is trying to force a seperation but Vip has the dominant position.
DiMa wants to break the clinch but can't.
DiMa is trying to break the clinch but Vip has him pressed against the cage.
Vip prevents DiMa from breaking the clinch.
DiMa looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
DiMa tries to break free but Vip pushes him back against the cage.
Vip working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Vip lands on the inside with an uppercut.
It looks like Nich DiMa has been cut.
DiMa has had enough of the clinch but Vip keeps him there for the moment.
Vip lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
DiMa wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vip has him pressed against the cage.

Vip throws a blind hook that connects with the side of DiMas head.
Vip creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends DiMa's eyes rolling into the back of his head! DiMa drops to his knees and Vip pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Non Vip!
