Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Seymour Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huey Sloan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seymour Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Huey Sloan!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sloan shoots in and gets a takedown into Reilly's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Reilly trying to keep a closed guard but Sloan is proving a slippery customer.
Sloan wanted to stand there but Reilly had control of the position.
Reilly keeping moving, preventing Sloan from controlling successfully.

Sloan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Huey Sloan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reilly paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sloan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Reilly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Reilly looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Reilly wants to get back to his feet.
Reilly wants to stand back up but Sloan manages to pass into side control.

Sloan stands up.

Sloan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Reilly lands a good elbow from the bottom.
Reilly keeping moving, preventing Sloan from controlling successfully.
Sloan throws a strike but Reilly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Reilly connects with a couple of short punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reilly stands up over Sloan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Reilly is stalling in the full guard.

Sloan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Sloan looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Reilly puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Sloan tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Reilly manages to move to mount!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Huey Sloan dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Reilly has taken the fight to the clinch.
Reilly is trying to force a seperation but Sloan has the dominant position.

Sloan has Reilly pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sloan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Reilly tumbling to the mat - Sloan dives into Reilly's guard.
Huey Sloan has got the better of the ground game so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sloan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Reilly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sloan is controlling him.

Sloan gets to his feet. Reilly looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Sloan throws a right and a left that Reilly avoids nicely.

Sloan instigates a clinch.
Sloan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Reilly is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Reilly is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Sloan pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sloan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Reilly has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Sloan looks to move to half guard but instead Reilly has passed into mount! Damn!

Sloan is desperately trying to improve his position but Reilly has a good base and remains in mount.
Reilly sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Sloan is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sloan is breathing heavily.

Reilly lands a nice shot to the head.

Sloan squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reilly cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Reilly moves to the back.
Reilly is hanging on to Sloan's back as he tries to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sloan wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Huey Sloan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Reilly tries for a takedown but Sloan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Sloan wants to control but Reilly passes easily into half guard.
Well, if Reilly is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Sloan is trying to stand up here but Reilly is controlling him well.

Reilly perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Reilly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Reilly moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Sloan.
You can see the frustration on Sloan's face as Reilly controls the position.
Reilly has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Reilly slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Sloan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reilly trying to control but Sloan is having none of it.
Sloan tries to hold on but Reilly pushes him away.
Reilly breaks from Sloan's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The referee warns Sloan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Sloan is working to get back to half guard.
You get the feeling that Sloan really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Reilly tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Reilly lands a big elbow.
Reilly avoids the attempt from Sloan to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sloan trying desperately to get to his feet.
Sloan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
BOOM! Reilly connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reilly lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Seymour Reilly has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Huey Sloan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Reilly fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

And that's the end of the fight!
Seymour Reilly showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Sloan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
