5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frankie Post! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Albert Waldbauer! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Post scores with a nice body kick.
Waldbauer lands with a right hand. Waldbauer connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Post throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick misses from Post. Post lunges at Waldbauer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Waldbauer's hand. Post pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Post avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Post scores with a head kick.
It looks like Albert Waldbauer has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Post tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Post. Waldbauer cracks Post with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Post lands with a nice body kick. Waldbauer lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Waldbauer is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Waldbauer scores with a kick to the body.
Waldbauer tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Post counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Post lands an elbow inside that Waldbauer shrugs off. Waldbauer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Post to keep the fight standing. Post lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Post breaks from the clinch.
Waldbauer shoots in and gets a takedown into Post's guard. Waldbauer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Waldbauer throwing strikes from guard but Post blocks nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Post wants to sweep but no luck. Waldbauer throws a big right hand that misses. Post is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Waldbauer throws a strike but Post rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Post won't allow Waldbauer to get back to his feet. Post wants to control from the top but Waldbauer keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Post is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frankie Post. Waldbauer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Waldbauer blocks a head kick by Post.
Sloppy strikes from Waldbauer. Those never looked like landing. Post lands with a thumping leg kick.
Waldbauer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Post at a distance.

Post throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Post throws a leg kick which misses Waldbauer's front leg but catches the back leg as Waldbauer tries to avoid it. Waldbauer wants to clinch up but Post keeps it at a distance. Waldbauer throws a nice head kick!
Waldbauer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Frankie Post seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Post lands a brutal head kick. Waldbauer looks out on his feet and Post throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
