The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vandalay digs a good hook to Steiner's body.
Steiner is looking to clinch but Vandalay is avoiding it.
Vandalay scores with a jab to the body.
Steiner closes the distance but Vandalay moves to the side
letting Vandalay counter with a right hand.
Steiner tries to clinch there but Vandalay circles away.
Vandalay throws a series of punches but Steiner avoids them all with ease.
Vandalay misses with a wild body shot.

Vandalay scores with a shot to the body.
Art Vandalay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vandalay dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vandalay throws a right and a left that Steiner avoids nicely.

Vandalay fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Vandalay connects with a good right hand that stumbles Steiner. Steiner circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Vandalay stuns Steiner with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Steiner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vandalay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Steiner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Steiner creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steiner in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Vandalay is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

In his post fight interview, Ricky Steiner started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
