Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Neilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baging Roner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roner has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Roner looks gassed! Neilson closes the distance and clinches. Neilson drags the fight down to the ground.
Neilson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Roner postures up.
Neilson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Neilson is on top in guard.
Neilson passes Roner's left leg - he's now in half guard. Neilson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Roner defending well though. Neilson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Roner! Neilson stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Neilson tries to clinch up but Roner circles away and keeps his distance. Roner swats away the attempt to clinch by Neilson. Neilson wants to clinch up but Roner keeps it at a distance. Neilson shoots in for a double leg but Roner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Neilson clinches with his opponent.
Roner takes a knee right on the jaw!
That's one minute gone in the round. Neilson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Roner uses from the top position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Neilson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Roner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neilson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Neilson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roner manages to get himself to full guard.
Neilson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roner's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Roner can do anything to dispel that myth. Neilson wants to stand but Roner has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Neilson works his foot free and advances to mount. Neilson moves to back control. Roner is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neilson missing with strikes from the back. Roner tries to escape the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Roner showing good submission defense here.
I really don't envy Roner right now.
Roner is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Neilson misses with an elbow to the head. Roner wants to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Neilson looking for the choke but no joy. Neilson looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Roner taps!
