Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noob Saibot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saibot throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Saibot is just out of range.

Saibot told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Saibot defends it easily.
Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Saibot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saibot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Saibot manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
