Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Colin Delaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nils Holgersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delaney comes to the cage accompanied by Cevin Fisher's Big Freak - The Freaks Come Out. The key to victory for Colin Delaney has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colin Delaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Holgersson! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holgersson tries a head kick but it misses.
Holgersson catches Delaney with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Holgersson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Delaney to the ground. Holgersson is now in Delaney's guard. Holgersson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Delaney has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holgersson has managed to get both his arms back between Delaney's legs - danger averted. Delaney trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Delaney looking for a sweep. Not yet Delaney, not yet. Holgersson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Holgersson lands a couple of elbows. Delaney is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gentlemanly Scholars Fight Club Gym(4 Sprbt 4*+) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Holgersson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Delaney works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Holgersson won't allow Delaney to sweep him here. Holgersson throwing strikes but missing. Delaney keeping moving, preventing Holgersson from controlling successfully. Delaney had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Holgersson defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holgersson trying to control but Delaney is working from the bottom. Holgersson slips nicely into half guard. Holgersson is pressing down on Delaney's thigh, looking to free his foot. Delaney is holding on for now. Holgersson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Delaney keeps working.

Delaney is desperately trying to improve his position but Holgersson has a good base and remains in mount. Holgersson trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Delaney is in a horrible position here. Holgersson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Delaney regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holgersson slows the pace down in half guard. Holgersson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Holgersson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Delaney defending well though. Holgersson is trying to control. Delaney wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Holgersson seems to be looking for submissions.
Holgersson prevents Delaney from improving his position. Delaney wants to get back to his feet. Holgersson passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Holgersson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Delaney can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Holgersson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Delaney to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Delaney shrugs it off. Delaney swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Holgersson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Holgersson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Holgersson trying to control but Delaney is having none of it. Delaney tries to reverse the position but Holgersson maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nils Holgersson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Holgersson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Holgersson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Holgersson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Delaney is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nils Holgersson! An out of breath Nils Holgersson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
