Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darryl Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Wolfar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maxwell comes to the cage accompanied by Black Label Society - Southern Dissolution. Darryl Maxwell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Wolfar!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell throws a leg kick that misses.
Wolfar walks into a left hand.
Wolfar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maxwell.
Maxwell slips under a jab from Wolfar.
Wolfar throws a shot to the body.
Wolfar scores with a jab to the jaw.
Maxwell on the wrong end of a nice jab.

A combination from Maxwell does no damage.
Maxwell drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wolfar wants to stand but Maxwell is controlling the position.
Maxwell postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Wolfar keeping moving, preventing Maxwell from controlling successfully.
Wolfar is looking to stand up but Maxwell isn't so interested in that idea.

Maxwell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Maxwell content to stall in guard here.
Wolfar is wriggling around but Maxwell manages to pass to half guard.
Maxwell wants to work for an arm triangle but Wolfar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Maxwell stalling.
Wolfar is in trouble now - Maxwell has advanced to mount!
Maxwell lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Maxwell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Maxwell lands a big elbow.

Maxwell scoring with strikes but Wolfar is staying in there.

Wolfar wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wolfar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Maxwell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wolfar's face.
Wolfar is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Wolfar looks winded!
Maxwell is landing with some decent strikes but Wolfar is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Wolfar is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maxwell is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Wolfar is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Wolfar flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Maxwell anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Wolfar and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Maxwell slips an arm under Wolfar chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Maxwell has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Maxwell is squeezing on Wolfar like an anaconda would it's prey. Wolfar fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Darryl Maxwell!
After winning the bout, Darryl Maxwell thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
