Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Twitchy Yosemite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rory Williams!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Williams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Williams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Williams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Yosemite knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground.
Williams wants to control from the top but Yosemite keeps moving.
Williams is looking to work some ground and pound but Yosemite has wrist control.
Yosemite is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Williams trying to control but Yosemite is working from the bottom.

Williams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Yosemite keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yosemite preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Williams works over Yosemite with some ground and pound from guard.
Yosemite has his hands on Williams's head, controlling the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt

and Yosemite counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Yosemite.
Yosemite wanted to stand there but Williams had control of the position.

Williams working for a triangle but Yosemite defends it easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yosemite wants to get up but he can't break Williams's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Williams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Yosemite wants to stand but Williams is controlling his posture from full guard.
Yosemite has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Williams is trying to control the position but Yosemite postures up.

Yosemite wants to stand but Williams is controlling his posture from full guard.

Williams has his foot on Yosemite's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yosemite works his way back into a safe position though.

Williams looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Yosemite is looking to stand up but Williams won't let him.
Williams not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Williams wants to sweep but no luck.
Williams controls Yosemite momentarily but Yosemite frees himself.
Yosemite pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Williams is keeping the position for now.

Yosemite slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Twitchy Yosemite wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Yosemite lands with an uppercut that bounces Williams off the cage and back into range.
Williams takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yosemite lands a jab-cross combination.


It looks like Rory Williams has been cut.
Williams is trying hard to land a takedown here. Yosemite sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Williams looks winded!
Williams gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yosemite.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Good shot there by Yosemite.
Williams takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Williams is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Yosemite.
A cross from Yosemite lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Twitchy Yosemite dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rory Williams's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Yosemite connects with a right that clearly hurt Williams. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Yosemite proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Williams collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Twitchy Yosemite!
