Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Nichols will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Flint!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Nichols!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Ben Watson and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols drops Flint with a left and a right! Oh, Flint is hurt - Nichols dives into side control looking to finish!
Flint is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Nichols creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Flint sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Oh Flint is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nichols working the ground and pound but Flint is defending the strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flint seems to have got his legs back now.
Nichols throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Flint works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Flint is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Nichols wants to get back to his feet but Flint is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Flint connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Nichols some visible discomfort.
Flint postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Flint has hold of Nichols's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Nichols seems comfortable defending it but Flint has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Nichols is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nichols is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Flint couldn't care less - he's delighted!
