Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Emong Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daisuke Numazawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salvacion comes into the arena with Till I Collapse blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Daisuke Numazawa was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numazawa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Numazawa throws a sloppy head kick and Salvacion moves out of range easily.
Salvacion checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nice sprawl there from Numazawa as Salvacion shoots in.
Salvacion doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Numazawa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Salvacion's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nice takedown defense from Numazawa. No joy for Salvacion on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emong Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Salvacion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Numazawa circles away.

Salvacion tries to score a power double leg takedown but Numazawa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salvacion somewhat.

Salvacion shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Numazawa defends it nicely.
Numazawa lands a nice shot to the body.

Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Numazawa's waist but Numazawa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side.
Numazawa works the jab nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Numazawa lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Numazawa.

Salvacion is rocked!
Numazawa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Salvacion has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Salvacion is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Numazawa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Salvacion stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Salvacion is breathing heavily.
Salvacion darts in looking for a takedown but Numazawa gets double underhooks and turns Salvacion into the cage.
Salvacion drops down looking for an ankle pick but Numazawa pulls his leg out and moves away.
Numazawa lands a brutal head kick. Salvacion looks out on his feet and Numazawa throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

In defeat, Emong Salvacion stepped up to the mic, saying 'He's the better man today... I will be back.'.
